Tags selection - UI mockup showing tag selection is not very intuitive. If a new tag has to be added then user may have to click on “New Tag”, on which we open a lightbox and then click on save. The tags implementation in most of the sites is a simple text box where user can type in the tag (separated with comma). As you type we can show tags which matches the text. The tag that is entered in the text box and is not already present will be added to the list of tags. This can be something similar to http://www.delicious.com.

Tags edit - At present the tags does not store the information about the creator. So if a tag text is edited then the change will be reflected at company level. e.g. User A created a tag called “learning”. Now User B can see this tag and can rename it to “Learning A”. Next time when User A sees the tag he will see the new value. We need to store the creator information with the tags and also show the tag cloud based on that.

Category selection - The UI mockup show the category selection dropdown with a search feature. However there can be usability issues like showing already categories as checked in the dropdown when the search takes place (the search would shorten the list and the selected categories may not be part of the searched list). For now we assume that the categories will be limited in number and will not provide the search feature in the category dropdown.
